Eco-maks are plastic-free, natural, compostable sheet face masks that allow you to treat your skin without compromising the environment.
They're great for people with sensitive skin, those who want to stop using chemicals and are even suitable for children.
You will receive 10 compressed Eco-masks along with an instruction leaflet and recipe card. The packaging is all recyclable and biodegradable as are the masks themselves.
All you need to do is add 10-15ml of liquid (most of which you may already have in your cupboard). The mask will absorb the liquid and expand. Gently unfold the mask and apply to your face (then relax). Leave the mask on for 10 - 30 minutes and enjoy the fresh feeling.
You can use many ingredients that you may already have around the house such as green tea, milk, lemon juice, tea tree, aloe vera, lavender oil, coconut milk, nut milk etc.
The instruction leaflet inside the pack gives you some great combination recipes depending on what you want to achieve (moisturising, cleansing, acne treatment etc.)
I am Hannah, a Geography teacher and mother of 1 (soon to be 2). I want to contribute to making sure my children grow up in a world where people care about our environment by leading by example. A recent expedition to Borneo showed me what our consumption is doing to vulnerable parts of our planet, so when I returned, I decided to start coming up with some solutions; and so, Eco-Masks was born. Eco-Masks chemical free, plastic free, eco-friendly alternative to the plastic heavy and polluting sheet masks currently on the market. They are a way to still treat your face without damaging the environment or your skin.
Eco-masks are our founding product. Each pack of Eco-masks contains 10 compressed sheet masks which are made of cotton and bamboo. You add your own, natural liquids to these compressed masks, meaning you can tailor them to your skins needs.
Gradually I am aiming to increase our product range. Currently we are branching out to include personalised bamboo toothbrushes and 100% natural dish sponges - please do take a look!
